Felea presents research at Michigan State University symposium
Raluca Felea, professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, presented a poster at the Inverse Problems Symposium at Michigan State University. Felea shared research on using microlocal analysis to study a generalized Radon transform that integrates functions over quadric surfaces, such as ellipsoids and hyperboloids, with centers on a smooth connected hypersurface. These operators serve as forward operator models in ultrasound, radar, and seismic imaging, helping with recovering images from data.
