Garzione to become dean at University of Arizona
Carmala Garzione, associate provost for faculty affairs, has accepted a position as dean of the College of Science at University of Arizona. Garzione will begin her new role June 7. While at RIT, Garzione focused her efforts on faculty recruitment, retention and development, and the creation of intersectional relationships to advocate for and advance the work of faculty across the university. Garzione also served as a tenured professor in the College of Science.
