Hugill-Fontanel runs 19th-century letterpress workshops
Amelia Hugill-Fontanel, associate curator at the Cary Graphic Arts Collection, ran two workshops titled "Improvisational Letterpress: Collaborative Broadside," at the Building Book Labs symposium on May 20 at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Hugill-Fontanel taught participants how to print on a 19th-century iron handpress.
