January 2, 2026 designated as a One-Time Additional Holiday

Dear RIT Employees,

To show our continued appreciation for your commitment and hard work, RIT is extending the winter holiday break week and adding a one-time additional designated holiday for all faculty and staff on Friday, January 2, 2026.

We want to especially thank our staff who put in the extra effort to create an additional designated holiday for the university amid our transition to Workday.
