Kopelev and Schulze contribute to Journal of Biological Chemistry

Samuel Kopelev, a fourth-year bioinformatics and computational biology student, and Stefan Schulze, assistant professor of biology, contributed to “Characterization of aliA and aliB deletion mutants reveals a dominant role of AliA in Haloferax volcanii lipoprotein lipidation,” a collaborative study providing the first proteome-wide analysis of lipoproteins in an archaeon, published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. The study was led by Yirui Hong and Mechthild Pohlschroder of the University of Pennsylvania.
