Mex-Perera receives First Place Poster Award at the 2nd IEEE SaTC 2026 Conference
Carlos Mex-Perera, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, received the First Place Poster Award at the 2nd IEEE SaTC 2026 Conference for his paper “Counterfeit RF Fingerprint Detection Using an Autoencoder-Based Approach,” which introduces a machine learning method to detect spoofed wireless devices and strengthen physical-layer security in the Internet of Things and wireless networks.
