Milazzo awarded Joint Service Achievement Medal
Brit Milazzo, communications and marketing manager for RIT's K-12 University Center, will be presented this winter with an award she received last spring (April and May 2022) through the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base. Milazzo, a longtime reservist in the U.S. Navy, regularly works with the command, providing intelligence services to joint units she supports with the Army, Air Force, and Navy. The Joint Service Achievement Medal (JSAM) is a decoration given to members of the armed forces and presented by the United States Secretary of Defense for “exceptional achievement” while serving in a joint military command or activity.
