I took this picture while doing an assignment for my Portfolio Development class. Each student had to cover a different exhibit at the Imagine RIT festival. The best thing about Imagine RIT was the chance it gave local youth to explore, discover and play. I met Daja while she was playing at the Lego exhibit. Her enthusiastic nature struck me, so I watched her as she discovered the rest of Clark Gymnasium. This picture seemed to capture her energetic spirit. It reminded me of the simple things one forgets to enjoy as they start to become a grown-up.
