Newman, Wright, and colleagues host conference

Dina Newman, professor in the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences, spearheaded the second annual Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research East meeting at RIT’s College of Science, May 28-30. The conference, which was supported by L. Kate Wright, school head, and Crystal Uminski, postdoctoral research associate, included 120 attendees from across the nation, with keynote talks, short talks, poster sessions, and a Shark Tank-style event.
