NPPA recognizes Meltzer with educator award
Josh Meltzer, assistant professor of photojournalism in the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, received the Robin F. Garland Educator Award from the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) for his strong dedication to his students, outstanding technical skills, and his commitment to community as demonstrated through his personal work and his efforts to bring together RIT photojournalism students to cover the Special Olympics. Meltzer was recognized during a ceremony at the NPPA’s Northern Short Course in Fairfax, Va., on March 7.
