High school juniors participate in the Explore Your Future program at RIT's National Technical Institute for the Deaf, July 30. Explore Your Future is a one-week transition educational program for deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students entering their senior year. The second of the program's two one-week sessions ends Aug. 3.

Throughout July, nearly 400 math, science and technology middle and high school teachers from across the nation studied in Project Lead the Way workshops at the National Technology Training Center at RIT and affiliated sites. This fall, the teachers will implement pre-engineering curricula in their home schools.

Sculptor Albert Paley stands in the George Eastman building lobby with a 40-inch replica of the custom sculpture proposed to grace the Administration Circle at RIT. The piece would be the largest ever designed by Paley, at 65 feet tall and 90 tons. Proposed plans call for Paley to erect the fabricated Corten steel, stainless steel and bronze components "in place" with his team of artisans.

Site work begins on the new IT Lab between the College of Applied Science and Technolgoy (CAST) and the Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies (CIMS) buildings at RIT June 28.
