Members of The Brick City Singers, an RIT all-male a cappella group, performed in the Little Cafe at the Fringe Festival Sept. 22.

Members of Dangerous Signs from RIT/NTID’s Masquers Drama Club performed in the Little Theatre at the Fringe Festival on Sept. 21. The group uses American Sign Language, poetry, mime, music and dance to explore current events.

Dr. Robert Davila, NTID’s first deaf vice president, was honored at an unveiling ceremony of a bust of his likeness created by Rochester artist Olivia Kim. The event, which took place in the Dyer Arts Center in LBJ Hall, was part of NTID’s Latin Deaf Week activities. Davila, who led NTID from 1996 - 2003, oversaw the construction of the Dyer Arts Center during his time at the college.

The Inclusive Excellence program uses Playback Theatre Community Building Workshops to create stronger bonds between faculty and students. The program is part of RIT’s CASTLE.
