RIT competed at the American Mock Trial Association regional tournament at the University at Buffalo

RIT competed at the American Mock Trial Association regional tournament at the University at Buffalo on Feb. 21–22, 2026.

The team faced Duquesne University (L), St. John Fisher (W), SUNY Buffalo (L), and SUNY Fredonia (T).

RIT also earned the SPAMTA Award (Spirit of AMTA)—voted by peer teams and given to the program that demonstrates the highest level of respect, professionalism, and sportsmanship during the tournament.
The team is coached by Ryan Lamon, Esq. ’17 (Criminal Justice), now a Monroe County Assistant District Attorney.
