Selinger co-publishes article on ethics of empathetic AI in medicine
An article by Evan Selinger, professor in the Department of Philosophy, was published in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Transactions on Technology and Society journal. The article, “The Ethics of Empathetic AI in Medicine,” identifies the most fundamental ethical issues at stake when using AI to address the challenges doctors face in providing effective and empathetic medical care to patients.
