Student presents at conference

Chris Torell, a fourth-year physician assistant student, took first place for his research poster presentation at the New York State Society of Physician Assistants conference on Oct. 26, 2019, in Albany, N.Y. His research studied how a standardized fitness program that utilized fire equipment in place of exercise equipment effectively lowered cardiovascular disease risk among volunteer firefighter participants.
