Sweet wins award for short film
Vanessa Sweet, assistant professor in the School of Film and Animation, won the Gold Award for Animation for her 2018 animated short film, Wild Woman, screened online July 27 at the 75th University Film and Video Association conference. UFVA, one of the premier U.S. academic organizations dedicated to the study of media, holds an annual conference and publishes the Journal of Film and Video, a periodical featuring articles on media production, history, theory, aesthetics, and criticism.
