Vodacek presents paper on African Great Lakes

Anthony Vodacek, professor of imaging science, presented "Update on Tools for East African Lakes (TEAL)" at the annual meeting of ACARE, the African Center for Aquatic Research and Education, in Kigali, Rwanda. Vodacek will be on leave this fall, writing a requirements document for an environmental monitoring system for the African Great Lakes. The TEAL project is one aspect of the monitoring system, intended to provide ground-level data to support satellite measurements of the lakes.
