RIT President Bill Sanders returns to WITR-FM (89.7) this week to field questions from the university community.
The student-run radio station is hosting Sanders at 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 13. Sanders will discuss a wide range of topics live in the WITR studio located in the Student Alumni Union. In his first year as president, Sanders has met with hundreds of students and alumni across the globe.
Topics for the upcoming show include:
- The development of a strategic framework, which will serve as a blueprint for RIT through the year 2035.
- The opening season for Judson Stadium, starting with men’s and women’s lacrosse playing Feb. 21 for the first time in the new stadium.
- The April 10 grand opening of the new Performing Arts Center.
- What is Sanders superstitious about on Friday the 13th?
The radio station collects questions from students in advance. The broadcast, “Ask President Sanders,” is part of an ongoing series that has been a tradition of WITR and the President’s Office for more than two decades.
