Wright and Newman awarded NSF grant

Kate Wright, school head, and Dina Newman, professor, both in the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences, were awarded a $350,000 collaborative research grant from the National Science Foundation. Working with Crystal Uminski at Towson University, they will develop, validate, and disseminate a visual literacy toolkit to help students learn and improve their visual literacy skills in the fields of molecular biology and genetics.
