Overview:
The Systems Administrator I will be a part of a team that provides systems administration for all servers and applications utilized in the 96th Medical Group, including the file, application and services, DHA, Air Force, DoD Standard Systems, and vendor-supplied systems.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field or a related area.
-Possess Security+ CE certification.
-Advanced knowledge of general server hardware and Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
-Advanced understanding of software installation and configuration.
-General knowledge of networks and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
-Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
-Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
-Able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
-Some travel may be required, up to 10% of the time. The travel may be local or national and may be by car, rail, or air.
