About the Position:
The Director of Athletics and After School Programs is primarily responsible for directing and coordinating all activities of the Athletic Department. The Director ensures the education of athletes is in alignment with The Learning Center for the Deaf’s mission statement.

The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) is a nationally-recognized leader in educational, therapeutic, and community services for deaf and hard of hearing children and adults. We are the largest provider of services to deaf and hard of hearing children in New England, and the largest private employer of deaf individuals in the State of Massachusetts. In 2019, TLC was named Outstanding Organization of the Year by the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

TLC is in an exciting and dynamic stage of growth, and our multiple lines of service offer a variety of creative opportunities for individuals to make an impact. The primary language of communication on campus is American Sign Language, and deaf candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
