About Us: Deaf Health Coalition is a dynamic and innovative advocacy firm based in Washington, DC dedicated to advancing legislation that improves the lives of individuals with hearing losses. We are a small team passionate about working with Congress to advance policies spanning the realm of health care, education, and technology that improve the quality of life for individuals with hearing losses. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented, creative, self-starter Graphic Design Intern to join us on a non-paid basis, to gain valuable real-world experience and contribute to our exciting projects.

Responsibilities:
-Create visually engaging content for digital and print platforms.
-Assist in the design and development of marketing materials such as social media graphics, website assets, presentations, and promotional materials.
-Generate fresh ideas and concepts for branding and marketing campaigns.
-Ensure consistency in brand identity across all channels.
-Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative input to various projects.
-Adapt quickly to feedback and make necessary revisions to designs.

Requirements:
-Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a graphic design program or related field.
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant software.
-Strong eye for design and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
-A portfolio showcasing graphic design work and creativity.
-Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Passion for design and willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
-Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
-Familiarity with web design and development (HTML, CSS).
