At PPPL we develop scientific understanding and key innovations needed to realize fusion as a safe and economic energy source for the world. Engineers play a crucial role in this grand challenge of the 21st century working in close collaboration with world class physicists and attacking difficult scientific and technical problems. The Engineering Rotational program is an opportunity for enthusiastic graduates to gain the experience and the exposure they will need to prepare for future technical leadership. This is your chance to join an innovative team helping to develop an energy source for the future.

The program consists of four six-months rotations to grow your technical expertise through coaching, mentoring and training with some of the best engineers in the industry. You will experience a wide scope of engineering assignments across all phases of the product life cycle, including: technology development, analysis and design, fabrication, installation, experimental operation and more. Every six months, you will move to a new assignment that allows you to develop your knowledge of engineering, and to build new professional relationships.

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills, with a strong work ethic, leadership potential and a track record of academic achievement. You must apply online to the appropriate job posting. You will then be invited to participate in a first-round of phone interviews and then to a second interview with a panel of senior managers on site. Once recruited, you will be considered a full-time employee and will be eligible to receive the benefits offered by Princeton University.

-You must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the 24 months preceding the start date (after July 8, 2017), or will obtain within 8 months following the start date (before March 8, 2020), from an accredited college or university. Suitable degrees are in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science or similar.
-You must have achieved a minimum overall GPA of 3.3 required.
