As a TPgM/Test Engineer - Hardware/Software, you will define, implement and evaluate a pilot Test program, which identifies gaps in our current accessibility and product inclusion testing and dog food processes, tools and documentation.
The pilot program will be run on a product under development and will consist of the following milestones:
Evaluating current product performance working with an external audit contracting vendor
Scoping of current state of accessibility and product inclusion test documentation
Survey of teams who are using the current accessibility and inclusion testing framework and their satisfaction with the current framework, tools, documentation and resources (in progress)
Compile a draft list of resources and best practices based on a pilot with a single product.
Create a Product Inclusion and Accessibility Testing Checklist to be used in a pilot program
Hold a review of the draft Product Inclusion Testing checklist, receive feedback and modify accordingly. Create a small set of metrics to be used to evaluate product and process success
Run a pilot program with a cross-functional Product engineering team using the draft checklist, and plugging into the Product Inclusion Office Hours program
Evaluate feedback from the pilot program. Create a report for Product Inclusion and Accessibility teams with recommendations for the Checklist and how to scale to other teams
Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with the Engineering team, UX and UXR, Product Managers and other a11y and Inclusion team members, understanding who is doing what across D&S PA. Be willing to reach out as needed to get information and identify resources.
Identify, curate and publish resources for the Product Inclusion Testing Checklist and pilot
Identify program or resource gaps that may block progress. Escalate and advocate for support where needed.
Create a final report of the pilot program, share with the team.

| Requirements |
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS STEM degree
3-5 years in the diversity field or relevant experience in test program management, education, management consulting, engineering or product development, events coordination or people operations, etc.
Worked with hardware and software at the system level, full system design experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
STEM degree
Track record for delivering results through successful program design and implementation in a client-facing, change management, or consulting role in
Accessibility or Diversity and Inclusion areas
Track record of project management, a bias to action and extraordinary attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy.
Proven influencing and relationship building skills with clients, internal and external partners, and people from various backgrounds and cultures.
Strong communication skills and ability to speak at external and internal venues
Team player with extraordinary communications skills, high tolerance for ambiguity and a rapidly changing environment
Comfortable rolling up sleeves to get things done and the next moment being part of deeply complex strategy discussions
Curriculum development including training materials, website development and in-person or group training experience
