Job Description

Description: This position provides support to the residential program to ensure individuals served are on track with their goals, appointments, getting to their day programs, etc. Collaborate with employees to ensure shifts are covered. Ensure health needs of individuals are met. Counsel individuals to help them more effectively deal with matters such as personal problems, personal values, vocational responsibilities, and interpersonal relationships. Coordinate and ensure the completion of required documentation such as progress notes, medication logs; medical/dental appointment forms; incident reports, behavior and physical logs and other reports as required. Administer and document medication as prescribed and adhere to the medication policy, provide 24 hours rotating on call support including some weekends/holidays as scheduled. Assist with weekly menu and shopping for hygiene or other personal needs; ensure all money transfers are accurate before returning to office. Collaborate with program management to ensure that sites adhere to state licensing, county regulations, accrediting guidelines.

Requirements

Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalency is required; as well as one year experience as a Resident Advisor or Residential Support Coach; OR one year of experience in the human services field working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders. A valid driver’s license and advanced ASL fluency are also required.
