Qualifications: 1. High school diploma and postgraduate training in secretarial work or two years of successful job experience in a clerical capacity. 2. Working knowledge of various computer hardware and software. Reports To: Assigned Director(s) Performance Responsibilities: 1. Provide clerical support to K-12 Principal, Director of Student Life, and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. 2. Maintain student file records in both electronic and paper form. 3. Establishes procedures that implement operational and/or fiscal policies. 4. Interprets policies and procedures as established by RSD. 5. Compiles data based on research techniques and on statistical compilations involving an understanding of operating unit programs, policies, and procedures. 6. Drafts a variety of reports as requested. 7. Provides authoritative information that tends to establish precedents and which may commit a unit or superior to a policy or course of action. 8. Independently composes reports and correspondence containing decisions that tend to establish precedents and which may commit a unit or superior to a course of action. 9. Arranges, as directed, conferences, staff meetings, and special school level events. 10. Signs on behalf of superior, as delegated, his or her name to correspondence, requisitions, vouchers, and other forms of consequence. 11. Assumes any other assignments that are reasonable and appropriate.
