Spotlight on Inclusion: Stories that shine a light on inclusive work practices

Take a closer look at how deaf and hard-of-hearing employees and their employers work together to build meaningful careers. Each video shows how inclusive practices open doors—and change lives.

Conor Doherty, a hard of hearing IT support specialist, gives an inside look at his work in a busy technology “Depot” where he manages assets, troubleshoots technical issues, and supports staff across his district.

This video showcases Deaf and Hard of Hearing students training to become skilled machinists. They share their communication strategies, confidence in their skills, and pride in their work.

Industry-specific Programs

RIT/NTID and Continued have teamed up!

RIT/NTID's Communication Studies and Services Department and Continued have joined forces to provide online courses for audiologists, speech-language pathologists and professionals in related fields.

Presented by RIT/NTID audiologists and speech-language pathologists, these courses are ideal for those interested in building their knowledge and to earn CEUs.
