Mid-December marks the end of the peak recruitment cycle. NTID Admissions visited 273 schools (compared to 250 at the same time last year) and will continue to visit schools throughout the spring semester.  We are working with 10% more prospective students this year and applications for the ASLIE program remains strong.

The surge in Early Action applications, the second year this option is available at RIT, provide a better sense of the strength of the incoming class by mid-January. Admissions remains guardedly optimistic about the forecast for fall 2026 considering different factors that impact enrollment including the demographic cliff and students applying to multiple schools.
