RIT is putting its 2035 Strategic Framework into action by setting clear priorities, strengthening how the university works, and making deliberate choices about where to focus its efforts and invest its resources.

Building Operational Excellence is a university-wide initiative focused on strengthening how RIT organizes its work, uses its resources, and supports its mission and strategic goals.

The initiative will identify opportunities to:

• improve effectiveness and accountability
• reduce unnecessary complexity and duplication
• strengthen important capabilities
• achieve sustainable savings
• and create greater capacity for strategic investment

The goal of this initiative is to strengthen RIT’s ability to invest in the people, programs, and priorities that advance its mission and strategic goals.
