The Women's Career Achievement Dinner has been cancelled.

Save the date of Monday, March 16 for this year's Women's Career Achievement Dinner with keynote speaker Johanna Lucht. Johanna is a NASA engineer who wasn't discovered to be deaf until the age of three. With limited resources for deaf people at the time, Johanna was unable to communicate throughout her childhood. It wasn't until the age of nine that she learned her first true language: American Sign Language.

It is her passion for knowledge, and her ability to overcome challenges that have led Johanna to study in STEM, and now works as an engineer for NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center.

In April of 2017, she became the first deaf engineer to take an active role in the control room during a crewed aeronautics research flight test.
