A Day of Panoramic Photography

RIT's School of Photographic Arts and Sciences is welcoming the International Association of Panoramic Photographers (IAPP) for a day of showing and sharing the historical and contemporary aspects of panoramic photography. Members of The Photographic Historical Society (TPHS) will also be in attendance providing technological perspective.
See film cameras and prints from the turn of the century and learn how high-quality panoramic photography is done digitally today. Meet some of the technologists who were instrumental in the photographic processes used, and watch a live demo of a rotating Panoramic Cirkut Camera from the early 1900s.
The event is set for Thursday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Francis Lab (Gannett Hall, room 2182). It is open to RIT students, faculty and staff, and the public.
