RIT Golisano College Computing Security Department

The Computing Security Department welcomes you to the newly founded Global Cybersecurity Institute (GCI)! GCI is home to leading programs in cybersecurity education. Founded in 2020, the Global Cybersecurity Institute at RIT is a world-class facility dedicated to cybersecurity education and research. Our students and researchers are working to build secure systems, software, devices, and technologies of the future, while providing resources to commercialize methods, algorithms, software, devices, and designs in cybersecurity to launch scalable entrepreneurial ventures.

Please join us for group tours of our Cybersecurity Experience Center and our Cyber Range. Tours for the experience center will go every 20 minutes and limited to 15 individuals at a time. Tours for the Cyber Range will be on the half hour, and limited to 25 at a time. To reserve a spot on a tour, please call Megan Critelli at 585-475-3968.

The Global Cybersecurity Institute is being made possible in part with designated funding from a donation made by 2009 RIT alumnus Austin McChord and a $5 million grant through the New York State Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program.

This event is part of the Golisano College 20th Anniversary Celebration.
