Dr. Michael Mendoza is the 9th Commissioner of Public Health for Monroe County. He is also appointed as Professor at the University of Rochester in the Departments of Family Medicine, Public Health Sciences, and Nursing.
The COVID Pandemic has shined a light on both the resilience and vulnerability of our health and public health system. In this presentation, Dr. Mendoza will explore the interface between clinical medicine and public health, with an emphasis on where renewed collaboration may bring about new opportunities to address chronic challenges.
