The first DeafTEC Math Conference was hosted in 2017 with the goal of bringing together teachers from middle school to community college to collaborate on strategies and resources for teaching mathematics to deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

This year’s conference, sponsored by NTID’s Regional STEM Center and DeafTEC, will be held at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) November 7-9, 2022. As planning continues, more information will be provided. Sign language interpreters and CART will be provided for all workshop sessions. Please make note of any other accommodations needed when registering.

Participants will receive professional development credit through RIT/NTID upon completion of the conference.
