Lecture title: "Good Design at Affordable Prices"

Alan Heller graduated from The New School in New York with a BA in Economics. Since founding Heller, Inc in 1970, he has been dedicated to selling well-designed products at competitive prices.

He has worked with the world's most iconic designers, including Massimo and Lella Vignelli. He offered houseware product lines for Gladys Goose and Starck's Excalibur.

Heller's first furniture design, the Bellini Chair, won the 1998 Compasso d'Oro, Italy's most prestigious design award. His ErgoErgo design for seating revolutionized the genre. Alan Heller was named the youngest director of the National Housewares Manufacturers Association.
