Lecture title: "At First Sight…Pierre Mendell"
Graphic designer Annette Kroger has been in charge of Pierre Mendell Design Studio in Munich since 2009, after working there for many years as Mendell’s assistant. She will discuss his celebrated posters and her experience working in the studio with Pierre Mendell (1929 - 2008).
This talk compliments the major exhibition of Mendell’s posters in the Bevier and University Galleries at RIT from August to October 2014. The lecture and exhibition are supported by a grant from Mark and Maura Resnick.
