Graduating students find their place on campus
RIT students have more than 300 clubs and organizations to choose from today. There are also 24 varsity athletics teams and numerous intramural sports, among other groups. For many students, these extracurricular activities are a great way to try something new, find a niche, and build lasting relationships.

RIT alumnus creates new game used as icebreaker for New Student Orientation
John McNicholl, a 2021 RIT graduate from Commack, N.Y, has launched a new game—Deceiver—that is now available on Amazon and at Shop One on campus and was recently incorporated into RIT’s New Student Orientation program as an icebreaker.

The virtual Futurists Symposium featured a collection of RIT alumni tapped to present an insider’s look into the future of industry as it relates to technology, art, and design. The symposium was held via Zoom during the May 1 Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival.

Outstanding Graduate Woman Award recognizes engineering student’s contributions
Morgan Mistysyn, who will graduate this May with a Master of Engineering in engineering management and a bachelor’s in industrial engineering, is the recipient of this year's Outstanding Graduate Woman Award for her leadership role in the RIT chapter of Engineers for a Sustainable World.

Student Spotlight: From studying abroad to a master’s degree
Lucie Le Scolan came to RIT from Rennes, France, on a study abroad trip last fall as a graduation requirement for her former school. Once she completed her five-year engineering diploma, she decided to return to RIT for her master’s degree in engineering management.
