Tea business bubbling for alumni entrepreneurs
Chinese tea culture, with its rich history existing since before the third century, has always been a lifelong passion for Tian Tian and Zining Chen. The graduates of RIT’s advertising and public relations program (2017) and master’s in entrepreneurship program (2019), yearned to share their culture in a new and exciting way—by founding Taichi Bubble Tea.

Dadgar works to make medicine personal
Sherry Dadgar ’08 MS (bioinformatics) wants the future of medicine to empower patients. Dadgar, a clinical assistant professor of medicine at George Washington University, launched her company, Personalized Medicine Care Diagnostics (PMCDx), in 2020 with a goal of delivering advanced clinical genomic diagnostic testing to patients and their physicians.

Baja SAE Rochester 2022 takes place June 2-5 at RIT and Palmyra Motocross Raceway
National and international collegiate Baja racecars will start arriving in the next few weeks at RIT for the Baja SAE Rochester event, June 2-5. RIT will host the international off-road event again, for the eighth time.

Undergraduate print students take top placements again in Canon’s collegiate design competition
Undergraduates in the Typography and Page Design class placed first and second in the annual Canon Solutions America collegiate design challenge. It was the second year students from the Graphic Media Science and Technology program competed in the event—and the second year they took top placements.
