Ganguly, Indovina, and Indovina recieve federal small business grant
Amlan Ganguly, head of the Department of Computer Engineering; Mark Indovina, principal lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering; and Jennifer Indovina, lecturer in the School of Design, received a federal small business grant through the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer program for their company DHICHIPS INC., which develops novel computer processors for AI and other Big Data applications with a promise for orders of magnitude improvement in performance over traditional platforms such as CPUs and GPUs.
