Hospitality Business Management Masters Prepares Industry Professionals to Lead in a Fast-Growing Industry
Our master of science in hospitality business management (HBM), offered online and in-person (starting fall 2024), is designed to be completed part or full-time, providing students the tools to manage current and emerging issues and become experts in the fast-growing hospitality and tourism business field. The program combines the flexibility of in-person or online learning with rigorous study in an applied curriculum with a technology focus. Graduates are prepared to provide leadership in the burgeoning hospitality and tourism business.
A myriad of connections, including hotels, wineries, restaurants, and world-famous golf courses, constantly refresh our leading-edge curriculum. Classes include marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, hotel real estate and investment, business analytics, and finance, delivering the skills necessary for hospitality business planning, branding, asset management, customer experience, and data analytics. “Saunders College of Business was an easy choice for me; the dynamic of the college in terms of having students from all over the world and different backgrounds, coupled with the fact that it is so well known within the business world. It has a reputation for delivering an excellent program. It was just an easy fit for me. The combination of the business school and my current degree program in hospitality and tourism management made it a great option. You have everything in one location. You walk in, and it truly feels like a business school. It gives you that drive and excitement the day you come to the building that this is where you want to be, this is the direction you want to head.” - Robert Maxwell ’20 (hospitality business management), ‘22 (EMBA), Amazon, Albany, NY
