Lakin's work selected for inclusion at Santa Barbara Museum of Art
Susan Lakin, professor of photo arts and sciences, had her “Freeway Landscapes” series selected for inclusion in “Perceptual Shifts: Photographs from the Collection at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art,” on view through Sept. 20. Created during Lakin's time in Southern California, “Freeway Landscapes” examines themes of perception, place, and technology that continue to inform her current research and creative practice in augmented reality, virtual reality, and immersive storytelling.
