Dart was a leader in the disability rights movement and a human rights activist. He died last month.

The class, taught by RIT professor Irene Evans, was one of several sessions held throughout the day exposing students to career opportunities in the sciences. The program was co-sponsored by RIT and the Educational Talent Search, a local organization.
