RIT Camp Tiger holds summer day camp from July 7 through Aug. 1

RIT’s summer day camp engages youth with hands-on learning experiences.
Rochester Institute of Technology’s summer day camp—Camp Tiger—offers four weeks of hands-on-learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
Facilitated by RIT’s K-12 University Center, Camp Tiger holds weeklong programs from July 7 through Aug. 1 for students who will enter the third to 12th grade in the fall.
Camp Tiger provides a variety of weeklong sessions. RIT student and faculty develop and teach the programs, including Dungeons and Dragons, RIT School of Wizardry and Witchcraft, Spy Camp, LEGO Robotics, Creating Comics, esports, photography, and more.
Camp will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Drop off starts at 8:30 a.m.
Extended daycare is available for an additional charge.
Camp Tiger tuition costs $400 per week and covers project-based instruction, family-style lunch at an RIT dining hall, supervised social interaction, and Camp Tiger T-shirts. Scholarships and free tuition programs are available. Registration is online on the Camp Tiger website.
