Wong publishes article on The Conversation

Tony Wong, assistant professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences, published an article in the Curious Kids section of The Conversation, “If everyone on Earth sat in the ocean at once, how much would sea-level rise?” Using a few mathematical simplifications, the article was written to make the program accessible for primary school-aged children. Since its publication on March 29, 2021, the article has been read more than 400,000 times.
