NTIDAA Welcomes New and Returning Executive Committee Leaders

The NTID Alumni Association is pleased to announce its new and returning Board of Directors executive committee leaders: Megan (Albertz) Gonzalez, Jason Wagner, and Timothy Beatty. 
 
Megan (Albertz) Gonzalez ’15, ’18 is the newly appointed president of the NTID Alumni Association Board of Directors after having served as a board member since 2021, most recently as a vice president. She graduated from RIT/NTID with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2015 and earned a Master of Science in Secondary Education of the Deaf in 2018. Outside of her role on the board, Gonzalez is a teacher of deaf students at the School District of Palm Beach County in West Palm Beach, Florida. 

Jason Wagner ’05, ’08 is the vice president of the NTID Alumni Association Board of Directors after serving as a board member since 2021. A graduate of RIT/NTID, Wagner earned an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting Technology in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2008. He currently works as a national sales director for Sorenson Communications in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he focuses on expanding accessibility through communication solutions that strengthen inclusion and equal access for deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. 
 
Timothy Beatty ’80 has served as secretary of the NTID Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2022 and will continue in that role. A 1980 graduate of RIT/NTID, Beatty earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. He is recently retired from serving as a senior project officer for the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research and resides in Dumfries, Virginia.

The new executive committee began their terms on July 1. NTIDAA looks forward to working with these leaders as they strengthen alumni connections, encourage engagement, and support a community of over 10,000 RIT/NTID graduates.
