CSS instructors gathered for a Techy Teaching Show and Tell to support one another’s instructional efforts through sharing tools, ideas, and resources for effective integration of technology and myCourses setup.

Audiologist Carly Alicea presented to a Nazareth University Deafness Specialization Program class as part of a panel of professionals (AuD, SLP, school psychologist, TOD, and educational interpreter) about supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families.

Senior speech-language professional Bonnie Bastian was invited as a guest lecturer to take over a class day for two combined LST classes (NTID LST first-year students, LST Employment Seminar students). In all, 28 students and four LST/NCCC instructors participated. Apps for Access: Bridging Workplace Communication was run as a hands-on apps lab, familiarizing students with tips and tools for communication accessibility, as preparation for co-op/workplace communication.

We’re excited to announce that we have a new audiology text number, which is fully integrated into our Blueprint electronic medical records system, which makes record keeping a little more seamless. The new text number for those who need to contact us for audiology support/services is 585-207-4299.

CSS has launched its ninth ContinuED course, Audiological Testing with Adults with Severe to Profound Hearing Loss, with more than 260 reviews as of Dec. 12.
