Join me in congratulating our colleagues on their many accomplishments.
- Jason Nordhaus is featured on a plaque in the new multimillion-dollar Astronomy Discovery Center at the Lowell Observatory. Their permanent exhibit entitled the “Diverse Universe Wall” is a mix of trailblazers in the field of astronomy, including Albert Einstein, Vera Rubin, Maria Mitchell, and deaf American Astronomer Annie Jump Cannon. The Lowell Observatory is where Pluto was discovered and the first measurements of the expanding universe were performed.

An even LARGER round of applause and recognition to those who contributed to the creative and linguistic talent - Cynthia Sanders, Alisha Bronk and Kastoslote Elijah (student). The video was first shared at this year’s Expressions of King’s Legacy and is available for any RIT event that wants to incorporate the Land Acknowledgement in ASL by contacting RIT Production Services.
