I wanted to become a teacher of the deaf so I could provide a quality education in the most accessible manner for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. My student teaching placements at The Learning Center for the Deaf was such an amazing experience. I loved being a role model for these students so they could see that they, too, can succeed in life. My hard work and determination has led to my job offer to work at TLC after I graduate.
