RIT’s co-op program is one of the oldest in the nation, beginning in 1912. More than 5,000 RIT students typically complete a co-op each year.

Computer Science Department is pleased to announce the winners of our annual scholarships. Several students majoring in Computer Science have been awarded scholarships ranging from $800 to $3,000 for remarkable academic achievement and making significant contributions to the Department.

Bing Yan, an assistant professor of electrical engineering, is building a more coordinated system to manage different variables affecting grid energy generation, storage, transmission, and distribution—from extreme weather events to the addition of solar and wind power.
