    RIT’s Student Government passed a resolution 23 to 1 on Friday in support of students, faculty and staff from seven countries whose citizens have temporarily been restricted from entering the United States by executive order of President Donald Trump on Jan. 27.

    David C. Munson Jr. named RIT’s 10th president

    David C. Munson Jr. was introduced to the community today as Rochester Institute of Technology’s 10th president. Munson, who will assume RIT’s top post July 1, was introduced by RIT Board Chair Christine Whitman at a community-wide event this morning in the Gordon Field House.
